Pages: 363 Author: Darien Gee Genre: Fiction

Julia and her sweet 5 year old daughter Gracie get home and find this bag on their porch, Julia had all intentions of just throwing it out but who wants to crush the heart of a little 5 year old that wants to bake what is inside? After baking it she runs into some new people and hands them the extra starter bags which begins the tail of new friendship and a bit of a new start for them all who all have their own secrets and pains. Soon, the whole town is filled with friendship bread and starters overflowing from the freezers until a flooding of a neighborhood city brings little Avalon together and they bake what they have to give to the poor town and spread the love, and lifts everyone's spirits in unlikely ways!
Although the site I use www.goodreads.com says its 400 pages the actual story only goes to 363 and the rest is recipies for Amish Friendship Bread if you feel like starting your own "chain mail" of bread or whatever you choose to make! I loved this book it was hard to put down and it really pulls at your heart. I would recommend every woman to read this book or hear it from an audio it is such a heart-felt story that you just don't want to keep to yourself!

Things Without A Name

Pages: 392    Author: Joanne Fedler  Genre: Fiction
Her name is Faith, but consequently she doesn't have any in anything that is happy. She doesn't believe in happiness or true love. She works as a legal counciller at a company that helps woman who are being raped or in a abusive relationship.
There were some parts that it made it hard to follow on what was going on in what part of her life since it jumps back and forth from current to bits and pieces of her past. It wasn't what I was expecting to really read either but I'm glad I found it and continued to read it. It was very hard for me to put down I really enjoyed reading it. I got to know Faith and a part of me on a whole new level.

On another note I have read some books inbetween this one and the last post but I forgot to write it down/blog it. So, with it being a new year I'll try and be better about posting the books I finish!
