Vampire Kisses

Pages: 208  Author: Ellen Schreiber  Genre: Fiction
A girl wants nothing more then to be a vampire since she was little. So when a mystery family moves into the "haunted" mansion up on the hill in her dull town rumors fly about who they are..WHAT they are...And what a surprise there is a handsome boy her age that she falls madly in love with.
I really enjoyed this book. Of course I like almost anything vampire related unlike Raven though I don't want to be a vampire...I like my life as is. It's definitely a good read. :)

MockingJay and Just Ella

Pages: 218 Author: Margaret Peterson Haddix Genre: Ficton
Who could resist a story about a princess? About Cinderella even...Well this is a twist on a girl that didn't have a Fairy Godmother and still made it to Prince Charming...But who said the Prince was her one and true love? I loved this book, it was so hard for me to put down. It is an inspiring story of a girl just wanting to be free and to be who she is.
Pages: 390 Author: Suzanne Collins Genre: Science Fiction
This is WAR! This is the end of the series and it goes out with a bang. Catniss is now the face of a rogue district and they want whats rightfully theirs. So, they fight for it, they fight for what they lost and what they want. I loved it and I can't wait to own it so I can re-read the series over and over!!

Vampire Diaries: The Struggle

Pages: 279 Author: L.J. Smith Genre: Fantasy Fiction
Part 2 of this series gets you closer to the characters and drives you crazy. Of course I loved the book and couldn't put it down but where is that new with me?
It picks up right where it left off in the first book. Elena is determined to find and save Stefen knowing that Damon had something to do with it. Then of course someone steals Elena's diary and starts teasing her with it leaving her notes and she finds out people want to use what she has written against her beloved...How will they fix it this time?

Vampire Diaries: The Awakening

Pages: 302 Author: L.J. Smith Genre: Fantasy Fiction
With me being a fan of the show it was an easy thought to pick up this book and try it. It is of course different then the show...What book and show are the same? Even though there is a lot different between the two there is also a great deal that is the same. It took me only a matter of hours to read and finish this book.
Elena is the most popular girl in school, every guy wants her, every girl wants to be her. Her senior year of high school, her and her friends (also the entire school) notice the new guy. Handsome and mysterious of course everyone wants to get to know him. Lucky Elena is the one that finally hooks him and tries to figure out all his secrets. However, of all the secrets you could find out of a person would you imagine one of them being he was a vampire...with a vampire brother?!

Hunger Games

Pages: 374 Author: Suzanna Collins Genre: Science Fiction
Like all the other raves you hear about this book I will state it again: IT WAS AMAZING!! Well written and so easy to get sucked into. I read it in 2 days (keep in mind i have kids and a little bit of a life). I have had adults tell me they enjoy it and kids, boys girls. It doesn't matter who you are if you need to do a book report, read it, if you enjoy reading read it like 20 times! I love it and I am so pleased to have it in my own personal library.
Katniss is a teenage girl who lives with her Mom and her little sister, her father died a long time ago. Where living everyday is a game of survival for her. Katniss is actually thrown into a life or death match with 23 other kids to fight for their right to live.

Forbidden

Pages: 454 Author: Tabitha Suzuma Genre: Real life/ romance
This book is very well written and I enjoyed reading it. At first I didn't know what to think honestly. However, I am a person that will try anything once so after reading Wizard's First Rule I decided to read this one given to me by one of my best friends for Christmas.
The book goes back and forth each chapter from Lochan (17-18 year old boy) to his sister Maya (16-17) and them realizing and acknowledging that they love each other and what they do about it. It really makes you think about your own views of what society has taught us and what you think of it all.
When you think of the word incest what comes to mind? Reading this book make sure you keep and open mind and see it from their point of view or you may just not be able to finish it or even get near it. If the thought of reading it scares you then don't. However, I highly suggest it to anyone and everyone that reads my blog!

WARNING: Book has explicit content!!!

Wizards First Rule

Pages: 820 Author: Terry Goodkind Genre: Fantasy
This book I had a really hard time putting down and getting on with the rest of my life. My computer didn't hold my attention, I couldn't sleep well, I hardly ate...It got bad. It was a VERY good book and I highly recommend it. It's easy to relate with the characters or fall in love with them. My husband recomended the series to me so its good for boys or girls. There is some things you would rather not want say your middle school reader reading, but it held my attention very well. Some of it was sexually graphic and others were just gory. With those aside or added it was still very good.
The main character is a guy that was living a normal life, he was a woods guide (meaning he guided people through the woods). Then it becomes up to him and 3 friends to save everyone from an evil dark wizard who wants to control everyone. He has to go into some land that he has never gone through that has magic and weird customs.
It is the first of a long series and I plan to read them all. However, I am taking a break and reading other books to put some variety in my brain :D
Until next post!! Keep reading and keeping your imagination growing!
