The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match

Title: The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match  Author:  Diana Seere  Pages: 248  Genre: Fantasy/ Erotica

Lilah is going from temp job to temp job to try and make ends meet while living with her sister in a crappy apartment. She finally lands a job that will take care of her, her sister and her Mom all she has to do is serve drinks at an exclusive club. One of the rules of this job is not to get involved with the members. Easier said then done when Gavin Stanton is always there and wanting to always be hot and heavy with her. Will she pick the man or the job?

I enjoyed this book and wish there was more. Yes it is a series but the rest of the series is the Stanton siblings and their stories. I really wanted to continue to read and enjoy Gavin and Lilah's story. I think most reader's of this book feel the same way.

Sinful Temptations

Title: Sinful Temptaion  Author: Kathleen Hayat  Pages: 368 Genre: Fantasy Erotica

Emma is alone in the world at just 17. The bullies make her life hard at school. When the new math teacher takes over he's scary but everyone respects him. Emma is no longer invisible. The teacher wants her in all the kinkiest ways. Whatever will she do?

I really enjoyed this book. The taboo subject of a teacher with his student made it a fun read. The people and creatures that were after her made me feel like it was me being chased and scared. I had a really hard time putting down this book and going back to reality of things to do as a Mom and wife. I wish there was more to this story then just this stand alone.

Animal Farm

Title: Animal Farm   Author: George Orwell  Pages: 141  Genre: Classic Fiction

On a farm out in the country of England, some animals get really sick of not reaping the rewards of their hard work when the humans don't do much of anything at all.  One day they run the farmer off the land and call it "Animal Farm" with the promise that things would be equal and fair and come up with their own rules. Slowly, the pigs who are of course the smart ones bit by bit start taking freedoms and changing rules on the rest of the animals.

I really enjoyed this book and feel a bit ripped off that it was not something I read in high school like so many others. It does make me think of all the things going on right now with Covid-19 and the President and how little by little I feel like he is trying to rip away our freedoms and so many people are willing to blindly follow just because of his title. It's not just the President either. Religion does the same thing in some regards. It is a book I will read from time to time to remind myself not to just blindly follow the crowd and do what is right for me.
