Kingfisher starts off trying to defend a town with his wolves from the last living dragon. Then it switches to how he is many many years later with saeris. It was amazing to know more of what makes him tick and why he is the way he is not just with saeris but with everyone around him. 

I loved hearing this. It made me laugh and warm my heart along with breaking my heart for him. I enjoyed getting to know kingfisher more intimately. Can't wait to continue this adventure with saeris and kingfisher to see what comes next.

This book was very boring and would have put me to sleep if I hadn't been driving. The facts would have been cool but the monotone droning just completely killed it for me.

What happens when the one fae that pisses her off turns into the person she can't live without?

This book instantly sucked me into the story. I had some issues with saeris' attitude but in the end who says a bit of attitude can't save your skin? I will definitely read it again and again. Callie hart did amazing on making this world and making us readers feel like we got to be apart of it.
