    Mark gives life advice that I would say no one asked for, but as it is a very popular book I think we asked for it without knowing we wanted it. It's funny and thought provoking all at the same. Sometimes we need someone to be brutally honest with how we are fucking up and advice on how to do so. It can be as simple as doing something, but it is important to remember that even when you are doing nothing you are in fact doing something. 

    This book made me start really thinking about my life and how I want or really need to change some of the things in my life. When things are broken down into simple steps it is easier for our brain to not feel so overwhelmed and to get our shit done. I'm so grateful that I decided to listen to this one. It was definitely needed in my life. I hope Mark transforms your life and thoughts as he did me. 

Emily is Away

The year is 2008 and AIM is dead (for those of you old enough to know what I am talking about) all of your friends are on "facenook" and finally convince you to join. With your friends' help you navigate the end of high school. There are multiple ways the game can end, you get to decide how it does. You go through a few chapters to decide how the end of high school ends for you. 

I enjoyed this small game, I would have enjoyed seeing more added to it. However, for what it is it's a nice game. In order to type you just have to hit only 1 button to type it and then hit enter for it to send. It's a game to sit and enjoy for a couple hours. 

Grow Up

When you first start the game you get a letter from your parents. You can pick how your parents look and your gender and then your name. Or you can leave most of it up to random. You will then go through stages from 1 to 18 by talking with kids at school and your parents. You can get a relationship with one of your friends. You use what's called a "brain map" to be able to get points so you may study and do entertainment. You pick some of the subjects you study. How you do on tests and how you respond to your friends and parents is how you will be dressed. I enjoy this game a bit more probably then I should but I am glad I own it and can nerd out. It's a nice relaxing game. Kind of like Sims but not as intricate.  

Goosebumps: Trapped in Bat Wing Hall

It is done as you are the main character and you get to choose which path you take and how it ends. There are many different scenarios that can be played out. You get invited by a boy to go to "Bat Wing Hall" for horror story sharing. However it isn't story time its game time. How will you pick the ending?

I have always enjoyed the "choose your own adventure" books, I have however found it is harder and harder to find them. This is a book I will read over and over to see what different things can happen. The choice is yours :)

In The Mood Again

Title: In The Mood Again  Author: Genie James M.M.SC. and C.W. Randolph Jr. M.D.  Pages: 241  Genre: Self Help

Very Informative information about rebooting your sex life. This is for older generations she is discussing about 30 or older. She breaks down what is going on with your body and why and ways to help you fix this. 

I found this  very hard to follow due to all the doctor jargon. I feel like I read a book meant for the medically knowledge inclined instead of something for basic knowledge. It felt like a textbook for a high schooler that a Jr. High student is trying to comprehend. 

Hello Kitty A Collection for Early Readers

Title: Hello Kitty: A Collection of Early Readers  Author: Abrams Brooks  Pages: 191  Genre: Kids

It has 7 stories of adventures for Hello Kitty and her friends and family. One of my daughters Zoe read most of this book to me over a course of a few days. The stories are a tad lengthy but most of the words are short and simple but pose a challenge to help them learn to sound it out. It has reading levels 1 & 2.
The stories were cute and my daughter loved reading a story to me and learning new words. I'm sure it will be read to me many more times. It is a great starter book though for your first graders :)

Pure Romance Between the Sheets

Patty Brisben is a consultant for Pure Romance and has a lot of concern for the woman of today that have no clue about their sexual health and how much it means that we know about ourselves. Whether you know it all or you want to learn it all this is a great book to pick up from your Pure Romance consultant (Like I did mine). It's not just to be more intimate with your partner but yourself as well. Learn about yourself before you try to explore more uncharted territory. 

I enjoyed reading this book and all it had for me to take into my daily life. There is a lot of smart tidbits I am excited to put into my relationship along with to discover more about myself. I am thankful to Patty for taking the time to write this and get it out to the masses!

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh is a bear of very little brain but he goes on some grand adventures with his friends. In this book he goes on 10 different adventures that you start to get to know the characters in the Hundred Acre Woods. 

Winnie the Pooh is a classic in my household. My twins just hit kindergarten and as a "homework" they need to read for 20 minutes a night. This is the first book that came to mind for me and they loved it as much as I did. Even got my 3 year old to sit down for a few minutes each night to hear about Pooh bear and his friends. This is one book I can read over and over again.

Big Book of Little Stories and New Spring

Title: Big Book of Little Stories By: Various Authors  Pages:  359 Genre: kids

There are some great stories in this book. From Gingerbread Man to Pinocchio. My kids loved having a small bed time story. It was short and funny and held their attention and they couldn't wait to read another story.

Title: New Spring Author: Robert Jordan Pages: audiobook  Genre: Fantasy

This story is how the world is changing and a new hero is about to be born. Moiraine is set out to find the baby before the dark power can.

I enjoyed this book. It is the first I have read/heard from Robert Jordan. I have been meaning to read Wheel of Time for a while now just haven't gotten to it with so many other books out there! It was a great thing to hear with my husband on our roadtrip with our kids in the car as well :)

The 5 Love Languages

Title: The 5 Love Languages     By: Gary Chapman    Pages: 209   Genre: Self-Help

Not any one marriage is perfect. There are 5 main ways to speak "love" to someone you love. This book lists them and gives you details and examples on how it has changed marriages that started out rough and because they applied the love languages how dramatically it changed for the better!

I enjoyed reading this and getting a perspective that I didn't see before. I did read some reviews that stated some of this is common sense and I agree, but sometimes you forget that people don't feel loved the same way you do. I recommend this to everyone that is going to get married or are married. Even if you don't see any problems in your relationship I would still suggest to read it because you can't go wrong with improving your relationships that mean the most to you right?
