The Debt: Catch The Zolt

Title: The Debt: Catch The Zolt  Author: Phillip Gwynne  Pages:  275  Genre: Young Adult

At 15 you look forward to all the new gadgets for your birthday. Not a long standing debt your family has. However dear Dominic gets the debt passed down to him on his 15th birthday from his Dad. If he doesn't pay his part of the debt they will take his leg and for a runner that isn't a great thing. In order to save his leg unlike his grandpa he has to do his tasks. First task? Only catching the most notorious online criminal "The Zolt" Now he has to team up with people he doesn't like to keep his leg...great birthday right?
I have a love hate relationship with this book. I enjoyed it to the fact I want to read the rest of the installments however, there isn't as much depth as I would like. There were parts it was hard to continue and not want to throw the book across the room and call it quits. The voices of the characters are great but there is not a lot of depth to Dom and I am hoping there is more depth to come for him. I can see a ton of room for improvement on him.  However it was a quick and fast read and I hope you guys enjoy it as well.

Stray

Title: Stray   Author:

Cassandra was walking home from school like any other day but when she looks up she notices she is not in Australia anymore. She starts a diary documenting her time in this weird place from when she gets there to when a strange guy comes to her and tells her he can take her home. She makes some great friends while learning a new language that is implanted in her brain.
I enjoyed this book for the most part but there were parts I couldn't follow. I liked that she had a way to learn the language but still had difficulties with it. Cassandra was very relate able and was a joy to read through her eyes from her diary.

A Huge Thank You

Many of you will remember these titles from before in my blog and you would be correct. These are two books from Marcus and Ashley Kusi, they asked me to do book reviews for them and on top of the free books they gave me via kindle they thanked me by sending signed copies of two of their books to me. I am humbled and honored by this and I wanted to thank them for their very generous gift to me.

Emotional and Sexual Intimacy in Marriage: How to Connect or Reconnect With Your Spouse, Grow Together, and Strengthen Your Marriage

Title: Emotional and Sexual Intimacy in Marriage  Author: Marcus and Ashley Kusi  Pages:  162  Genre: Self Help
~I was asked to review this book~

Marcus and Ashley have made another book about how to strengthen your relationship. There is so much in this book. It talks about the finer details on how to expand and grow as yourself and with your spouse and some tips on how to do so! The fact that Marcus opens up and tell us the readers that he had to learn about "being a man" and that it doesn't mean that guys never cry, quite the opposite. A man that is in-tune with his feelings can typically get the girls easier since we women can connect deeper with them. It is nice to read a book about how to repair or just make your marriage better from people that have been there and its not just from one point of view it is from both of them and I think that makes this valuable! There isn't just great insite in the book there are links to their site www.ourpeacefulfamily.com to help you with steps along the way to help you become the couple you want to be. There are also questions in the book you can answer with your spouse so it isn't just a sit down and read there are questions you can answer and get to know each other and your goals as a couple more thoroughly.
Although it is packed with a ton of information that we know sometimes we forget its the simple day to day things that make our marriage and our relationships in general work. You want to tell your best friend everything so why not do the same with the spouse. Even if they are two separate people.
One of my favorite chapters was the one about spiritual intimacy. I think its one of the things my husband and I struggle with the most and I have never thought that there are ways around not sharing the same beliefs and sharing with your kids. It's about the core learning and feelings not all the extra stuff. One of the things that makes the books from Marcus and Ashley unique is that they add their own personal stories to it as well so its not just "this is how you fix it" they add their own personal touch that they have gone through it and they want others to not have to. Although it is apart of being a couple.

Soda Dungeon

Title: Soda Dungeon  Game System: Computer  Game Type: Casual Dungeon Crawler

In this game you are you. The tavern keeper and everyone else talks to you and you upgrade the tavern from your winnings from running the dungeon. It is very simple. You can turn on auto and let it play for you. You pick up to 5 people to fight in this dungeon. With each new soda type you buy in the tavern you can get a new type of fighter. There are different type of monsters in the dungeon that you will have to fight, you can warp to other parts and can be caught in sleeping or poison traps.

This game is very simple and very entertaining to watch and to play. Although it isn't very complicated or interactive you do buy things to help make the dungeon trips easier on you and to get more loot. It's fun to have going on in the background as you are doing other work or playing another game.

Tomodachi Life

Title: Tomodachi Life  Game System: Nintendo 3ds  Game Type: Simulation

In this game you will be the look a like, You will create people and put them in their own apartment, due to the interaction between them they will develop relationships and friendships and they can even move into a house while keeping their apartments and have a kid. The kid you have two choices, you can send them off to explore other players lands. You also interact with the people you create by playing mini games with them and you can watch them do things. There is a fun interaction they will do if they catch you watching them when they are flirting with each other.

I have enjoyed this game over the time I have had it. It reminds me of Sims in a lot of ways. There are still a lot of things I get to discover and enjoy about it and I hope you will all consider getting it as well.

Mia and the Too Big Tutu

Title: Mia and the Too  Big Tutu  Author: Robin Farley  Pages: 31  Genre: Children

Mia wants to be just like her big sister and dance, her Mom helps her see her dreams come true with a dance class. When Mia is getting ready she realizes she grabbed her sister's tutu instead of hers, she is so embarrassed to be tripping over it. With the help of a friend she dances with all her heart on the stage for the class and forgets her fears.

It's a good moral story for beginner readers. My daughter read it to me and I couldn't be more proud. This is a great beginner book to start that confidence and to start learning a bit more complex words. I did have to help my kindergartner with the harder words but she sounded out most of it.
